This funded residency set against the unique and moving landscape of Porthleven, Cornwall, involved the creative collaboration efforts of Bath Spa university's and Falmouth university's selected students. Taking part in two residencies (the first in March and the second in May 2023) involved living and working in Porthleven, and with the time and resources offered by the local community, each artist responded creatively to the theme of 'provenance'. The resulting exhibition (Somewhere) In Between (The Land and Sea) (2023), travelled across Porthleven, Falmouth, and Bath between September - December 2023. A publication was also produced to celebrate the ten year anniversary of the prize, featuring each winners' work alongside the creative outcomes of those from previous years. More information.
